When her estranged husband passed away suddenly, our client found herself in their formerly shared home with an unfinished master suite addition. Without his help, our client knew she couldn’t finish the renovation on her own, so she turned to M+M Transitions.
We helped her select a contractor to complete the four-month remodeling project. We oversaw the design, which called for a wall to be taken down between the kitchen and living room to create an open concept on the first floor. In addition, an extra 600 square feet of living space was gained by finishing the basement.
We sourced all of the finishes throughout the 2,300 square foot home – including new appliances, granite, tile, hardwood and carpet, cabinetry in the basement, paint finishes, and light fixtures. The result was a whole house transformation. The home sold in 21 days for $44,000 over the highest comparable sale price.
